My name is Liam,

welcome to Chiselled Souls.

I started to pursue the career choice of joinery back in 2021,

after discovering my natural talent for woodworking during

a house renovation.

​

Since then my ideas for creative projects have been endless.

​

Going down the natural route of an apprenticeship to reach my initial goal of a qualified bench joiner soon made me realise that I wasn't happy where I was going with my newfound passion, I wanted to be more creative, more hands on. I felt like my freedom to express my love for carpentry was becoming limited, so I decided to branch off and create my own path, alone. Taking inspiration from my late Grandad Rex - who was an absolute wizard with wood, and fully self taught.

With his spirit guiding me, the passion and talent he has passed down to me running through my veins, I built a workshop in my garage - just like my Grandad Rex did - and Chiselled Souls was born.

After starting my journey going down a route that made me unhappy and truly chiselled at my soul, I have found where I belong. It was within me all along. I have found happiness in the peace of wood, and I strive to continue Grandad Rex's legacy.
